As service-learning becomes increasingly widespread in higher education, more opportunities are emerging for service-learning practitioners to pursue scholarship. This workshop will provide an overview of what to consider when developing a scholarly agenda in service-learning, ideas for places in which to publish and present service-learning scholarship, and resources for including work with service-learning in the review, promotion, and tenure process. You will also learn about NC Campus Compact’s new Research and Scholarship Initiative!
